My name is Leah McDonald, and I am an elementary music teacher for Edmond Public Schools, as well as the Director of Edmond Youth Chorus. When I moved my Mother’s baby grand (built in 1933) from Oklahoma to Colorado, Bruce Piano Service performed the breakdown, packing and loading of the piano. When the Colorado piano movers unloaded and set up the piano at my home, they commented about the way it had been packed and secured in the truck – “Whoever did this really knew what they were doing.” That was nice to hear, because I had been nervous about moving the piano and the risks involved. Jordan Bruce and his assistant were very punctual, polite and professional. I would recommend them to anyone needing piano moving services.

I wonder how many piano tuners there are per city? Worldwide, what is the median age of piano tuners? With the advent of keyboards, & digital pianos, will this profession even survive another generation? I am so glad that Jordan Bruce really enjoys his profession. I bought a baby grand a while ago and had Jordan come take a look at it. My wife was there and she said he was very friendly and told her the “truth”, which is hard to come by these days. The piano had some broken keys and such. We would have paid whatever to get it fixed but he professionally recommended that we not waste our money, but instead should use for however long and purchase a new one when the time was right for us. I appreciate that b/c I would have spend X amount to fix it up and then it break down again. Thanks Jordan!
I’ve known Jordan all my life. He and his family are dear friends of my family. His father, Gary took care of our family piano for as long as I can remember until Jordan began tuning and moving pianos in the past ten years or so, and it has always been a pleasure. He removes the burden and hassle of having to move a heavy, delicate, and treasured instrument at an extremely affordable price.
