Harriet MartinViolin Teacher in Oklahoma City
Harriet began playing violin when she was only 4 years old. She was classically trained but also grew up playing in a bluegrass family band where she was able to open for highly acclaimed musicians such as Ricky Skaggs and Ralph Stanley. At the age of 10 she started playing in the local college orchestra in Grand Junction, Colorado where she grew up as well as started teaching violin. Currently, Harriet teaches violin and viola, plays in The Woodnote Quartet, The Oklahoma City Community Orchestra, and a Mariachi band based in Oklahoma City. She can teach a wide range of music types.
